San Francisco’s Big Gay Birthday w/ The Bold Italic

Hundreds of San Franciscan’s came out to The Bold Italic‘s Big Gay Birthday bash at the iconic Old Mint to show love for their city on its 237th anniversary. The sold-out event proved to be as festive and fabulous as San Francisco itself. The basement vaults featured a variety of sweets, drinks, arts and arcade activities, and social areas serviced by TCHO Chocolate, Blue Moon, Getty Images, Blick Art, Sidewalk, and Swoon. And you better believe that we wouldn’t miss the party of the year!

Our photobooth was also a part of the mix, capturing smiles and silliness from guests decked out in every color of the rainbow in front of our dazzling silver-sequined backdrop. Party-goers kept the energy level off the charts upstairs at the silent disco, presented by Silent Frisco, which featured DJ’s from Go Bang!, Hard French, Fix Yr Hair, and Stay Gold. Dance moves were being busted all over the floor to the tune of six different channels playing simultaneously, each through select headphones. People refueled throughout the evening on carnival fare served by Straw SF and quenched their thirst at one of the six bars brought by Tonic Beverages.

At the last hour, when the clock struck midnight, performing drag queens Lady Bear and Dulche de Leche led everyone in a toast to San Francisco with champagne and cupcakes supplied by Pretty Please Bakeshop. Everyone was welcome to come, as they were, for outrageous fun, spectacular food and drinks, and sweet lovin’. It doesn’t get more San Francisco than that.

Big gay birthday

Women’s Audio Mission @ 111 Minna

Women’s Audio Mission is a San Francisco based, non-profit organization, dedicated to the advancement of women in music production and the recording arts.  They held the opening reception for the 133rd Audio Engineering Society Annual Convention at 111 Minna Gallery past October.

Snap Fiesta was honored to be a sponsor for this event and provided a creative, fun-filled photo booth experience for all to enjoy!  The Golden Gate Bridge being the back drop, provided the perfect scene for all to explore and demonstrate their creative artsy side!  With a lot of musical instruments used as props, it helped to get everyone in the mood for the convention.

The WAM  vision statement is “ Changing the Face of Sound ”.  With that being said, they provide and offer training programs to many women in the San Francisco area.

Thanks WAM for a great event, and for making a difference in our community and the lives of women! We are pleased to be a part of such a great organization!

PopSugar @ GAP, San Francisco 12.6.12

PopSugar, a leading lifestyle and entertainment digital destination, partnered with GAP and held an event to showcase and explore their guests outerwear accessory creativity.  PopSugar, with headquarters in San Francisco, is known for its celebrity content, and women’s lifestyles, while focusing on fashion and everyday living trends.

This event was very much the same theme that PopSugar is known for.  All of the guests focusing on women’s passion points, such as: entertainment, fashion, beauty, and fitness.  The pictures taken demonstrate this as they held captions featuring these commonalities, with an array of combinations.

SnapFiesta was there to capture every moment, as they styled themselves with Winter accessories.  Photos taken in the photo booth were then later entered into a contest for prize giveaways.  While their motto is “love comes in every shade”, this night it came in every single creative idea with warm and cozy fashion accessories.

Everyone had a fabulous time, including Snap Fiesta, while enjoying complimentary appetizers, drinks and an awesome 30% discount from GAP!

Vitaly’s and Amber’s Birthday Bash & the debut of SnapFiesta!

This San Francisco photo booth event was not only the celebration of Vitaly and Amber’s birthdays, but also the birth of SnapFiesta, San Francisco’s premier photo booth! What better reason to party?

Vitaly and Amber are personal friends of SnapFiesta and they certainly know how to throw a party. We celebrated on the San Francisco rooftop penthouse of the Avalon Apartments. The classic, Victorian-style black & white fabric used in this photo booth is still our most popular SnapFiesta backdrop.

Thank you again Vitaly and Amber for letting us in on your celebration and helping introduce SnapFiesta to the world! We can’t wait for next year’s party!
