Say Hello to Vinnie the bus! Vinnie is a funkadelic 1974 Volkswagen Type 2 Microbus. Because of type 1’s popularity during the counterculture movement of the 1960s the bus received numerous nicknames worldwide, including the Hippie Wagon. Measuring only 14 feet long, this self driving photo booth can fit in tight spaces both outdoors and indoors! Hellen is a 1959 Airstream Globester. In the 1950s the United States was the world’s strongest military power. Its economy was booming, and the fruits of this prosperity– suburban houses, and top of the line vehicles–were available to more people than ever before! The 1959 Airstream Globester is one of the rarest gems that emerged during that era.

Meet Terry the Taxi! Terry is a 1969 Austin fx4 London Taxi. The 1960s were a time of significant cultural and social change in London, and we have managed to secure a piece of history from  “Swinging London.” The taxi is a four door vehicle measuring at about 180.3 inches long, it can sit about three to five people comfortably. The photobooth design is simplistic, reminiscent of a vintage camera with an off camera flash. Check out our London Taxi Photobooth!

Did you know: The taxi was designed to maneuver through the tight streets of London so one of the more remarkable characteristics of the London Taxis its tight turning circle, it can make a U-turn on a dime!

The Sport of Love

This year at the SF Giant’s Winter FanFest, SnapFiesta was prepared to capture all of the love the loyal fans have for our 3 time world champions the SF Giants. We set up at the CSN news desk, ready to record all of the fun. What we had not expected however was to capture the love between two of our awesome photo booth attendees.

With a giant sign that read “Can I take you out to the ballgame forever, Will you marry me?,” SnapFiesta was honored to capture their love and our very first live proposal! The proposal took place on the sidelines after their photo was taken. Here is a play by play on how it went down. IMG_0412

After the couple took the photo with a sign arranged with CSN they went off like nothing happened. Then on the sidelines the magic happened. He took a baseball out of his backpack and lifted a beautiful engagement ring from it. The look on her face was priceless, and we were there to document the whole thing! Talk about a romantic Valentine’s weekend. We send lots of good luck to the lovely couple and hope we get a save the date in the mail pretty soon!

SnapFiesta @ SF Travel Partner Business Exchange

“To enhance the local economy by marketing San Francisco and the Bay Area as the premier destination for conventions, meetings, events and leisure travel.” –  San Francisco Travel’s mission was in full effect at this month’s Partner Business Exchange. Here at SnapFiesta we were super excited to sponsor and be a part of this outstanding event.

Partner Business Exchanges are a fun and relaxed way for members of the travel and tourism industry to network and mingle with one another. The exchange was held at The Wattis Room, at the San Francisco Symphony. Along with SnapFiesta other sponsors of the event included: The Wattis Room @ San Francisco Symphony, wines from Jax Wines, a duo from SF Event music, and Madame Tussaud’s life sized Tony Bennet.

At the exchange we were excited to introduce SnapFiestas’ newest offering,  our mirror photobooth!

The Mirror photo booth takes the photo booth to a whole new level, as it is an ornate mirror infused with technology. This setup fit the vibe of the event as the room is full of mirrors. The photos looked great with our black sequence background. The dazzling animations overlayed on top of the guests reinfections gave guidance to the photo taking process. As with every photo setup, the mirror booth from SnapFiesta can do onsite prints and social media sharing.

7Everyone had a blast with our cool props as the mirror photobooth captured all of their silly gestures, funky poses, and most importantly their ultimate selfies! The system is designed to fairly and accurately capture the scene in the reflection, so if you don’t see yourself in the mirror, you are not going to be in the shot.

The mirror photobooth is perfect for any occasion. It is designed so that we can customize animations and tailor the interaction with the photobooth to fit each event perfectly. The photobooth fun will be off the charts as guests experience the mirrorbooth in the most unique and engaging ways.

Science of Cocktails 2016

With over thirty stations and a multiplicity of spirit representatives SnapFiesta had a blast stirring things up at the Exploratorium’s 6th annual Science of Cocktails. Attendees enjoyed a variety of cocktail related demonstrations, an open bar, and a delicious collection of hors d’oeuvres.

There were chemist, physicists, master distillers, and mixologists that entertained guests by demonstrating the science behind their favorite cocktails. SnapFiesta was there to capture all of the fun as attendees learned how to turn beer bottles into recycled glasses and isolate their DNA using alcohol.

We set up our open-set studio and slow-motion video studio for guests to stop in and enjoy throughout the night. In the midst of the cocktail fun guests had a blast posing with our quirky props and getting a momentum photo at the photo booth. Guests also got to conduct their own three second experiment videos with our slow-motion studio, even abc7newsbayarea joined in on the fun!

The date of service is subject to SnapFiesta availability, and certain dates maybe blacked out due to high seasonal demand. Prize to be used within one (1) year of prize acceptance. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. No substitutions allowed. Any expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included as part of any Prize package, and are solely the winner’s responsibility.

Look back – Austin SxSW photobooth action

Our love affair with Austin started in March 2012, when we were first introduced to SxSW. Since our early days, we’ve planted our roots in Austin and have fallen in love with the city and the vibrant event scene. We’ve had the pleasure of working at various events around town for SxSW and sponsoring various music showcases that can  be found around town.

For those that have never been, SxSW is a once in a lifetime experience (or annual if you like), where you can go from listening to the most hyped bands of the year, to learning about the latest technology trends at MedTech Expo, to attending a movie premiere with Matthew Mcconaughey, to shooting high-resolution aliens in the latest Xbox games at the Geek Stage. No matter where you’re from or what you do, SXSW has something for you. We tend to do most events in the first week for the SxSW Interactive, and the festivities get even more fun with the music portion with concerts throughout the city.

The 6th annual NBFF was held at The Gallery Theatre at Barnsdall Art Park in Los Angeles. This park sits right across the skyline from Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign, creating a beautiful space overlooking the city.

cARTel: Collaborative Arts Los Angeles is a Multimedia Production Company which creates accessible and immersive events to champion the development of exceptional artists. To sum it up, they put on some of the city’s most unique events for artists.

We used Green Screen technology in our photo booth to display the Blair Witch Project Woods backdrop behind festival attendees. The Blair Witch Project is a independent film shot on a low budget that turned into a box office smash, grossing over 248 million worldwide! The Blair Witch Project’s crew are just one of many supporters of NBFF Film Festival. Lots of spooky Halloween themed props helped add to the photo booth fun.
